Cat 4DAT Health helps users track cat litter-box activity with photos, notes, tags, and timeline history. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.

Information We Collect and Store

In the current version of Cat 4DAT Health, entry data you create in the app (including notes, tags, and related details) is primarily stored locally on your device using on-device app storage.

Depending on the features you use, data handled by the app may include:

  • Photos you take in the app or select from your Photo Library.
  • Entry content such as notes, tags, and timeline timestamps.
  • Device and app diagnostics such as crash or performance data from platform tooling.
  • Advertising-related identifiers and signals used for delivery, measurement, and personalization where supported.
  • Contacts data is not requested by the current app version.

Photos associated with entries are saved in the app's local storage area on your device.

The current version does not include cloud sync or backup.

Permissions We Request

  • Camera access to take litter-box photos in the app.
  • Photo Library access to select photos to attach to entries.
  • Tracking permission for advertising and personalization where supported.

Advertising and Tracking

Cat 4DAT Health may include advertising technology from third-party partners. Identifiers and related data may be used for ad delivery, measurement, and personalization, subject to your permissions and platform rules.

Where required, App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission is requested before tracking across other companies' apps and websites.

Subscriptions and Purchases

Cat 4DAT Health may offer optional paid features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. Billing is handled by Apple through your App Store account under Apple's terms.

How Information May Be Shared

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers, platform providers, or authorities when reasonably needed to operate the app, comply with legal obligations, or protect rights and safety.

Your Choices

  • Delete entries and photos from within the app.
  • Remove the app from your device.
  • Manage Camera and Photo Library permissions in iOS Settings.
  • Manage ad tracking permissions in Apple settings, including ATT choices.
  • Manage or cancel subscriptions through your App Store settings, if applicable.

Data Retention

Data created in the app remains on your device until you delete it, remove the app, or clear local storage.

Children's Privacy

Cat 4DAT Health is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will post the updated policy with a revised effective date.
